As I mentioned in a previous post I am a member of the Giant Microbe Affiliate program, mainly because I love all the soft toys made to look like microscopic organisms, and as a research scientist these are the things I deal within my work.
The way the affiliate program works is that for each toy sold the affiliate member gets a commission of 10% of the sale value. The commissions then get paid via Paypal or a cheque when you have received more than $25. The sales seem to get credited to your account each month since each month at around the same date I seem to get credited with any purchases.
Anyway I am particularly excited since I passed the $25 mark this month. Below is the table from my Affiliate member web page showing the data of people using my links. I am surprised how many people have clicked through these links. A total of 943 visitors have clicked through them, many of which seem to have been repeat clicks. As I mentioned I am putting all the income from this into AEReS, so thank you to those who have clicked on these links.
The commission doesn’t seem to have been paid yet but by the looks of it it is paid on the 10th of the following month, so I look forward to seeing if it goes through.
The other thing to note here is that there are a few new Giant Microbe toys which is fun. The new ones are:
